01 · The challenge
Measure what
makes heat useful.
The experimental tower in southern France explores heat transfer and storage using particle-based technology. That research calls for more than a standard control panel: it needs dependable, high-density process visibility.
Monitor Systems supplied the data acquisition, field instrumentation and bucket-elevator control that turn a complex thermal experiment into a measurable operation.

02 · The installed system
Thermal data,
made actionable.
The instrumentation package records the thermal, pressure, level and flow conditions that researchers need to develop efficient high-temperature particle systems.
- 86 thermocouples across the process installation
- 47 differential-pressure, eight pressure and eight flow measurements
- Two level switches supporting the materials-handling process
- Bucket-elevator control integrated with the data-acquisition environment
03 · Delivery
Research-ready
from the field up.
The delivery combines the physical field layer, data acquisition and control in one engineering package tailored to the experimental site.
- Field instrumentationTemperature, pressure, flow and level points were selected to expose the process in detail.
- Data acquisitionHigh-density measurements make the experimental performance record usable to the project team.
- Materials handlingBucket-elevator control supports movement through the particle heat-transfer system.
- Integrated engineeringControl, instrumentation and data needs were treated as a single renewable-energy system.
