01 · The requirement
Build the density.
Keep every route clear.
The system brings a high fibre count into two organised, serviceable cabinets. Each build combines optical distribution, labelled blanking, cable management and protected routing in one controlled assembly.
Monitor Systems managed the cabinet design, component procurement, assembly, inspection, fibre testing, documentation, packing and delivery.
02 · Cabinet build
Fourteen ODFs.
One organised system.
The Rittal 5309.816 cabinets were configured to protect the fibre hardware while keeping every termination accessible for installation and service.
- 200 mm plinth, side panels and front and rear cable ducting
- 14 × 1U, 24-port SM/APC LC duplex ODF units
- 14 × 1U labelled blank plates
- 14 front cable-management units installed below the ODFs
03 · Controlled assembly
Built under control.
Recorded throughout.
Panel layouts and label drawings guided the workshop build. The complete engineering pack followed the cabinets, including inspection records, test readings, installation information and operation and maintenance documentation.

04 · Fibre, quality and delivery
Test every path.
Document every result.
Factory acceptance testing included panel inspection and VFL continuity checks on every patch lead and pigtail. The two completed cabinets were packed together and delivered by road to Aker Solutions AS in Stord, Norway.
- 108 patch leads3 m LC/APC–LC/APC duplex leads in yellow LSZH, using G652.D singlemode fibre with maximum insertion loss of 0.15 dB.
- 672 pigtails48 per ODF, LC/APC singlemode 9/125, 900 µm and 1 m long, using G652.D fibre with maximum insertion loss of 0.2 dB.
- Complete quality recordITP, certificates, fibre readings, FAT procedure, O&M manual, BOM, data sheets, specifications, project plans, schedule, spares and DOC.
- Delivered to StordTwo cabinets packed in one protective crate, approximately 2000 × 1200 × 2400 mm, for DDP road freight to Aker Solutions AS, Norway, with an estimated 3-day transit.
